Every aspect of Ministry regardless of what we do is vital and important to the Father. Praise His name that we truly belong to Him and He is the final author and finisher of our Faith and not man. Ministry is hard and in a critical situation. Christian Friendships should not ever play a part in what the world's standard of friendship is. Years ago I was asked what is my definition of a true friend. As I pondered I felt this and have held it close to my heart for many years.
"True friendship and love is knowing that my character and my person is safe in someone's hands even when I am not around." When Jesus talked about love and told us that there was no greater love than a love that would lay down a life for another...He did and knew exactly what we needed to learn. As He always did Jesus taught us by example. My dad use to tell me if I died with one true friend I will have died rich. Man hasn't quite learned what Jesus showed us and attempts to tell us in His Word, The Bible!
My prayer is that people will find the a way to show that love to one another. Serving Him comes in many ways and He uses our talents for His glory and our benefit. What is your talent and what do you do? Share how you use your talents for Him and tell others. We can all learn from one another in love and joy!
You may be a tent maker like Paul or a doctor as Luke. You may open the doors of the Church or clean bathrooms. You may be an Artists, you may have a special gift. Whatever we do we should do it to the very best of our ability. Let us learn from you!
